Born in San Diego, California, Toshio Kiso was raised in Japan and Manchuria by his mother while his father remained in the United States. Toshio’s mother died when he was ten years old, so he moved back to Japan to live with his grandparents and returned to the U.S. 1951. He graduated from UCLA and entered Peat Marwick & Mitchell (now KPMG), where he earned his CPA license. He later set up his own office and spent more than 50 years serving Japanese corporations doing business in the United States. Active in numerous organizations, he was a past President of JAANY and was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun by the government of Japan in 2005.
